Cybersecurity may be heavily technology-driven, but there’s a lot to be said for stepping away from the screens and into a room full of interesting people.
There’s even more to be said for this idea when those people are working on some of the biggest questions facing cybersecurity today.
That’s why Topsec Cloud Solutions will be heading to the Cyber Ireland National Conference 2026.
The conference will take place in Kilkenny at the Lyrath Estate Hotel, and it will bring together people from across Ireland’s cybersecurity ecosystem. The day is already shaping up to be filled with fresh ideas, deep insights and plenty of great conversations
The theme this year is “Realising Ireland’s Cyber Industry Potential”.
There is plenty on the agenda to get people talking.
Throughout the day, experts from industry, government and academia will explore the biggest challenges and opportunities facing cybersecurity today. The conversations will explore everything from the evolving threat landscape and national cyber resilience to innovation, regulation and the impact of AI. The speakers will look at what is happening in cybersecurity right now, as well as what Ireland needs to prepare for next.
In addition, there will be a strong focus on the future of Ireland’s cybersecurity sector itself. The conference is a chance to hear different perspectives from the NSCS, business leaders, security specialists and academics.
Together, they will explore how Ireland can build on its strengths and continue to develop its cyber capabilities. They will also look at how Ireland can realise the potential of an industry that continues to grow in importance.
Cybersecurity doesn’t stand still.
New technology creates new opportunities, but with opportunities come challenges. Cyber criminals are zealous in their commitment to finding ways to exploit new strategies and tactics AI makes possible.
We have to keep adapting to stay ahead of malicious actors.
